Job Summary
Provide classroom teaching assistance and supervise students at all times while maintaining a positive environment. Deliver daily care including toileting, diapering, and feeding as needed. Support all facets of student growth and development while adhering to district dress code and confidentiality policies. Maintain required TB test results on file prior to starting work. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds. Submit a complete application packet with qualifying credentials and references before the closing date. This 190-day position supports the Southside Early Childhood Center during the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education
- An associate degree (or higher)
- High School Diploma or the equivalent
- Ready to Work Credentials
- WIN Assessment minimum of Level 3 certification
- Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment
- Negative TB test result
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
