Job Summary
Teacher Assistant in a dual employment role providing one-on-one academic and behavioral support to students, assisting lead teacher with instruction and classroom activities, leading small group sessions, performing clerical duties, and reporting to a Principal or lead teacher. Additionally, the role requires obtaining and maintaining a school bus driver license and performing bus-driving duties as part of the dual employment arrangement. The position emphasizes monitoring student safety, supporting independent learning, recording progress and attendance, and helping with general classroom operations and material preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree and/or 48 Semester Hours and/or WorkKeys Assessment and 96 clock hours
- Must be able to acquire and maintain the appropriate licensure to drive a school bus.
