Teacher Assistant - 2 Positions (4th, 5th) - TIS - Apply 6/15/2026 - 9/11/2026

Assist the Grade 4/5 teachers in classroom activities and operations. Plan regularly with the assigned teacher, work with individuals and groups of students, assist in student testing activities, keep charts and records of student performance, prepare materials for a positive learning environment, perform clerical duties (inventory, filing, typing), operate audiovisual equipment, assist with the basic physical needs of students, ensure student safety, participate in professional development, maintain confidentiality of school-related information, adhere to Board of Education policies, and foster positive relationships with staff, parents, and the community. Be prepared to report for duty early and stay after hours as required by the principal and assigned hours. Maintain a cooperative working relationship with school staff and promote good public relations for the school system.
