Job Summary
Secondary Teacher (Art) at Mingo Central High School – provide instruction in Art to 9-12 grade, ensure students meet learning objectives, utilize 21st-century technology, collaborate with special education staff, plan/co-curricular activities, and communicate with students and parents; requires appropriate certification and a valid WV teaching certificate; 200-day term; complies with state and local policies; duties may include field trips and school-improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Certified by the State of West Virginia to teach Art PK-AD
- Valid teaching certificate licensing the individual to teach in the specializations and grade levels, pursuant to WV Code §18A-3-2
- Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate
