Job Summary
Care for, supervise, and ensure the safety of center children while assisting staff in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly classroom and playground environment. Adhere to all program policies and procedures with compassion for diverse backgrounds. Hold a high school diploma, possess reliable insured transportation, and obtain first-aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within six months. Provide current physical and negative TB test results before hire and be available to work as a substitute. Must be at least 16 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have access to reliable, insured transportation
- Must have or obtain and maintain first-aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within six months of hire
- Provide current physical (less than 1 year) and negative TB test results (less than 1 year) before or upon hire
- Be able to work as a substitute in classrooms, as needed
- Cost for fingerprinting and background check must be paid at time of hire
