Teacher Aide- Special Education Cross Categorical

Assist the classroom teacher in a Special Education cross-categorical setting; administer and record achievement and tests scores for individual students; work with individual students or in small groups to reinforce lesson materials; collaborate with the teacher to design strategies that reinforce lesson materials and address individual student needs; operate and maintain classroom equipment; distribute and collect instructional materials; provide guidance for independent study, enrichment and remedial work; supervise students during lunch, recess, field trips and related activities; maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with parents and administration; comply with district policies and safety plans; participate in meetings, workshops, and continuing education as related to classroom teaching.
