Job Summary
As a Special Education Teacher, you will identify student needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with academic or physical challenges. Responsibilities include modifying the educational curriculum, using diverse instructional methods, enforcing classroom rules, maintaining accurate student records, and communicating effectively with parents and school personnel. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can create an inclusive learning environment to help students reach their potential.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher and special education license
- Previous experience as a special education teacher
- Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
