Job Summary
Conduct daily health checks, implement individualized activity plans, and promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms. Assist in planning field trips, managing classroom transitions, and maintaining accurate records for all enrolled students. Develop nurturing bonds with infants and toddlers while collaborating with families and developmental team members to support each child's unique growth. Ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and free of hazards through regular maintenance and hazard checks. Communicate effectively with parents to promote their involvement in their child's early learning experiences.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED
- willing to obtain a CDA
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents and include them in their child's learning process
- Knowledge of organizational skills to facilitate meeting designated timelines
- Positive attitude, relationship building and interpersonal skills with student's staff and families inside the classroom and center environment
- Ability to lift 40lbs
