Job Summary
Provide classroom support across grades by assisting teachers with instructional activities, setting up learning centers, and maintaining an organized classroom. Deliver one-on-one and small group help to reinforce concepts, support academic tasks, and assist with behavior management and supervision during activities. Uphold the Catholic identity and values of St. Matthew while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment and collaborating with teachers, staff, and guardians. Requires flexibility to work with young students (ages 4-5); background check and drug screening are required. This is a part-time role paying $16.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Patience and empathy
- Ability to work with children aged 4-5
