Teacher Aide

The Teacher Aide supports the Lead and Assistant Teacher in a developmentally appropriate classroom for children ages 6 weeks to 34 months, assisting with daily operations and providing break coverage. Responsibilities include engaging with children through positive interactions, helping prepare and maintain learning materials and classroom environments, following established routines, communicating with staff about children’s needs, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with Arkansas Child Care Licensing Requirements and NAEYC Accreditation Standards. Requires completing required orientation, health and safety training, and ongoing professional development, and maintaining compliance with licensing requirements.
