Teacher Aide 3-5: Columbus Classroom F

Teacher Aide supports early childhood education by assisting in delivery of curriculum, supervising infants and toddlers, facilitating learning through structured routines and play, participating in mealtime routines, and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment across multiple classrooms. Responsibilities include supervising children, documenting observations in the data system, collaborating with staff and families, implementing social-emotional strategies, and ensuring safety through emergency procedures. Requires basic computer skills, strong interpersonal abilities, reliability, and a commitment to SEK-CAP, Inc. mission and Head Start principles. Education pathway options include a high school diploma or equivalent with ongoing development toward early childhood credentials, and eligibility to obtain required certifications and clearances.
