Instruct assigned classes in designated locations and times while planning programs that meet individual student needs. Create a conducive classroom environment, employ varied instructional techniques, and establish clear objectives for lessons and projects. Assess student accomplishments regularly, diagnose learning abilities, and provide progress reports as required. Maintain accurate records, protect student and facility safety, and enforce classroom behavior rules in harmony with district policies. Support the CORE Literacy initiative and WOW program, plan assignments for teacher aides, and attend staff meetings. Make provision for availability to students and parents outside instructional hours when requested.
