Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities in 8th Grade US History and coach students in assigned sports, promoting intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Required Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
- One year coaching experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
- Knowledge of subjects assigned
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
