Job Summary
The classroom teacher will lead 7th grade English instruction by translating district standards into meaningful learning experiences, using district-adopted textbooks and curriculum guides, and employing diverse instructional and management techniques. Responsibilities include designing lesson plans and instructional/assessment materials aligned with objectives, leveraging technology to enhance student learning, collecting and using student achievement data to inform decisions, maintaining positive classroom management and open communication with students and parents, collaborating with colleagues and school personnel, and supporting school goals. Requires Arizona certification, fingerprint clearance, evidence of highly qualified status, and online application with consent to provide recommended materials (three letters of recommendation) and official transcripts.
