Job Summary
Conduct differentiated instruction in 7th-grade English Language Arts, utilizing various teaching strategies to increase students' critical thinking skills. Create a secure classroom climate while analyzing data to adjust lessons and monitor student success. Plan, develop, implement, and use available technology in daily lessons. Communicate effectively with parents and students, and assist with other duties as assigned by the Principal. Commit to high student achievement and support for all learners within the Haywood County Schools system.
Required Qualifications
- Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the subject matter being taught
- Ability to exercise various teaching strategies to increase students' critical thinking skills
- Ability to Create a secure classroom climate
- Ability to Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly
- Ability to Plan, develop, implement, and monitor, with student success as your goal
- Ability to Use available technology in your lessons
- Ability to Communicate effectively with parents and students
