Job Summary
Teacher Math for 5th grade: Meets and instructs assigned classes in the designated locations and times; plans a program of study to meet individual student needs; creates a safe, stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning; prepares for classes with written evidence of preparation; establishes clear lesson outcomes; uses a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and technology; models the district’s mission and goals; assesses student progress regularly and adjusts instruction accordingly; posts grades timely and provides progress reports; recognizes potential learning disabilities and seeks appropriate assistance; assists with other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Hold appropriate Tennessee certification/license
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills
