Job Summary
5th-grade teacher responsible for delivering standards-aligned instruction in Clear Creek ISD, with duties including planning and presenting lessons, assessing student learning, collaborating with colleagues to modify curricula for SPED/ELL/GT needs, integrating technology, supervising aides/volunteers, maintaining accurate records, and communicating professionally with students, parents, and staff to support student growth and district goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas certificate for the subject and level assigned
- At least one-year student teaching or approved internship
- Experience in classroom instruction and behavior management
- Ability to align instruction with district curriculum and TEA guidelines
- Experience with collaborating with SPED/504/ELL/GT teams
- Plan and supervise classroom activities and volunteers
- Maintain effective parent/teacher communication
- Proficient in using technology to support instruction
- Maintain accurate student records and reporting
