Job Summary
Fourth Grade Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned to district standards and Washington State standards, using differentiated instruction, data-driven assessments, and collaboration with grade-level teams to improve student outcomes. Responsibilities include planning, delivering, and assessing instruction; maintaining accurate records; implementing effective classroom management; communicating with parents; participating in PLCs and professional development; supporting district initiatives and technology integration; and ensuring a safe, engaging classroom environment while upholding district policies and state laws.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement(s), or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Experience working with elementary students preferred.
- Knowledge of elementary instructional practices and child development.
- Ability to use assessment data to drive instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) preferred.
- Experience integrating technology into instruction preferred.
