Job Summary
Plan instruction with logically sequenced objectives based on the adopted curriculum, implement effective instructional methods, employ varied assessment tools for formative and summative assessment, maintain accurate records, communicate with parents about academic, behavioral, and safety concerns, and uphold Catholic ministry and school mission. Demonstrates knowledge of Catholic teachings, differentiates instruction, uses technology (e.g., Google apps), and collaborates with colleagues to support instructional planning while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, valid state certification (as specified by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department and the Diocese of Corpus Christi).
- Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening
- Must adhere to all Diocesan policies and procedures
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Texas driver's license
