Job Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting district curriculum, accommodate diverse learning styles, assess student achievement, collaborate with special education staff for IEPs, use technology to enhance instruction, and participate in staff development and school-wide activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- At least one-year student teaching or approved internship
