Job Summary
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials using varied strategies to meet the needs of all 3rd-grade learners. Maintain effective classroom management while evaluating student progress through multiple assessment methods and providing interim reports. Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with staff to uphold board policies, district goals, and school safety regulations. Share supervision responsibilities for students throughout the school day and adhere to health and safety protocols. Participate in workshops, seminars, and staff development sessions to maintain current subject matter knowledge and learning theory.
Required Qualifications
- NC Teaching License in appropriate subject area
- Qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull light weights
- Ability to lift weights above 30 pounds (rarely)
