Teacher - 3rd ELA

Plan and implement an instructional program aligned with state and parish curriculum requirements, developing lesson plans that address individual learner differences and special education needs. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior to maximize instructional time while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Deliver developmentally appropriate content, assess student progress through varied techniques, and provide timely feedback. Coordinate Individual Education Plans, hold IEP meetings, and collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and community resources to improve student outcomes. Supervise students before, during, and after school hours, and fulfill administrative duties including grading, record-keeping, and attending faculty meetings. Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all federal, state, and local policies.
