Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills; manage instructional time and student behavior; deliver instructional presentations at a brisk pace with clear objectives; monitor student performance and provide prompt feedback; facilitate instruction aligned with school and system curricular goals; interact effectively with students, coworkers, parents, and the community; perform non-instructional duties as assigned; minimum training includes a degree in education or a related area qualifying for North Carolina teacher licensure; physical requirements include using standard classroom tools and equipment; permanent, full-time role with 37.5 hours per week and 10 months per year.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or in a related area that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
