Teacher - 1st Grade (Cross)

Plan, organize, and provide engaging instructional experiences for 1st grade students within Mesquite ISD, ensuring alignment with district curriculum goals and standards. Responsibilities include delivering effective instruction, managing student behavior, assessing progress, communicating with parents, collaborating with special education staff to modify curricula as needed, maintaining accurate records, and participating in district evaluation processes and school activities. Successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and intercultural competencies, plus ability to develop short- and long-range instructional plans, utilize diverse instructional strategies and technologies, and support ongoing professional growth.
