Job Summary
Provides instruction and carries out a teacher’s lessons for K-5th grade in Denver Public Schools. Plans and delivers instruction, organizes students for effective learning, maintains classroom control, and fosters a safe, positive environment. May participate in extra-duty activities such as coaching, tutoring, or summer programs in line with the Teachers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field and a valid Colorado teaching license; a Master’s degree is required for Concurrent Enrollment positions. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license
- Masters degree for Concurrent Enrollment positions (preferred for those roles)
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado
