Job Summary
Provide instruction and carry out lesson plans in assigned classrooms for third through fifth-grade students. Organize students for effective learning while maintaining control to foster a safe, positive environment. Motivate academic participation and ensure the integrity of instructional time. May participate in extra-duty activities such as coaching, tutoring, or summer programs. Work within an Innovation School designated by the district.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community
- Believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado
- The ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's Degree (for Concurrent Enrollment positions)
