Job Summary
The Teacher position is responsible for providing loving, Christ-centered, high-quality care and education for young children. Essential functions include supervising children, maintaining a safe environment, implementing age-appropriate curriculum, conducting assessments, and engaging with families. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, teamwork, flexibility, and possess strong communication skills. A minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education is required, along with two years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum twelve (12) units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
- Minimum two (2) years successful experience working with children
- Background check certification as per Protect the Mission policies
- Clear Child Abuse Index & fingerprint clearance with FBI & Dept of Justice without a waiver
Desired Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Documentation of current Pediatric First Aid & CPR training
Additional Requirements
- Criminal background check required for vicinity of children
