Job Summary
Execute daily production tasks including brewing, mixing, and packaging of core tea products according to established recipes. Maintain a clean, safe work environment by strictly adhering to sanitation measures for storage areas and equipment. Manage inventory through accurate counting and recording of raw materials and finished goods. Participate in team huddles to communicate operational issues and suggestions for improvement. Pass required certifications and handle sensitive information with confidentiality. This role reports directly to the Production Manager at Piper and Leaf Tea Co. in Lacey's Spring, AL, ensuring every product meets high standards for quality, safety, and consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods
- Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to go up/down stairs, ramps, and ladders
- Occasional use of a pallet jack
- Frequent rotation and use of wrists, spine, and upper extremities to perform duties, including reaching, turning, and precision work
- Must be able to work safely with and around hot equipment, steam, sharp cutting tools, power-driven machines, and chemicals
- Work environment includes exposure to loud noise and common food allergens such as various herbs, fruits, dairy products, and tree nuts
- Ability to distinguish, with a degree of accuracy, differences or similarities in flavors and odors
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A genuine passion for great beverages and a high level of interest in learning about food, business, and creating a great customer experience
