Job Summary
Perform network maintenance and diagnostics for over 500 nodes and administer network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues while managing cloud network architectures. Responsibilities include configuring Virtual Private Clouds, maintaining hybrid cloud connectivity, and implementing network security best practices. Requires a minimum of five years of experience in relevant network technologies and proficiency in AWS Cloud services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Cisco switching, routing (OSPF, BGP), firewall, and wireless access
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools
- Experience with AWS Cloud in VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway, Routing, Security Groups/NACLs, Network firewall, VPN, Direct Connect, CloudFormation, and IAM roles
- Excellent troubleshooting and research skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco access-layer switches
- Solid understanding of L1-L4 network layers
Desired Qualifications
- F5 Load balancing experience
- Experience with Cisco ISE
- WAF experience
- DNS/DHCP experience
