Job Summary
Caseworker for the Hurricane Helene Expanded Recovery Assistance (ERA) program, delivering client services, interviewing households to assess recovery needs, coordinating with disaster recovery partners, assisting with eligibility documentation, advocating for clients to access resources, and maintaining service records and reports. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in social services or related delivery, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, MS Office proficiency, willingness to travel within impacted areas, and eligibility for local travel near designated Tennessee locations. This is a work-from-home, hybrid role with preferred living within 25 miles of specified TN areas and involves collaboration with National Headquarters, partner agencies, and Disaster Case Management providers. Spanish proficiency is strongly desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years of experience with social services or service/program delivery, or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Knowledge of disaster recovery processes, community resources, and support services
- Spanish proficiency strongly desired
- Travel: Travel required
- Current, valid driver's license
