Catastrophe Claims Advisor for TD Insurance based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. You will investigate, negotiate and settle both Residential and Auto Catastrophe claims, support customers from start to finish (open claims, set up appraisals, assign contractors, generate financial transactions, finalize settlements), review inspection reports, determine coverage applicability, and coordinate with internal partners and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate resolutions. The role emphasizes customer-focused service, collaboration within claims teams, ongoing professional development, and the ability to manage high-value, catastrophe-related claims. Preferred qualifications include two+ years of claims adjusting experience; knowledge of Xactimate/XactAnalys is a plus; bilingual (English and French) considered an asset; provincial licensing may be required; CIP designation pursued is preferred.
