Job Summary

Secondary Core Teacher responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in core subjects (including Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, and ELAR), planning culturally responsive lessons aligned to standards, monitoring student progress, and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment. Collaborates with colleagues, communicates with families, utilizes varied instructional strategies, differentiates instruction for diverse learners (ELLs and students with disabilities), aligns with district/state policies, integrates technology, uses assessment data to inform instruction, and supports RtI-informed interventions. Responsibilities also include professional development, participation in school improvement efforts, and adherence to district and state requirements. Night School responsibilities listed separately include mentoring, attendance oversight, supervision of Night School staff, and coordinating related activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
  • Colorado teaching license with endorsements in all relevant subjects
  • 1 year experience or one semester of student teaching
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Bilingual endorsement preferred
  • Regular attendance is essential
