Job Summary
Conduct daily instructional support and critical thinking exercises for students in grades 6-8, fostering independent problem-solving and analytical skills. Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that challenge students to evaluate arguments and synthesize information. Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents and administrators regarding progress. Submit weekly lesson plans and reflect on instructional effectiveness to support continuous improvement. Adhere to strict drug-free workplace policies and complete required background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Must receive a negative drug test result prior to being hired
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a United States citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must provide a court disposition for any sealed or expunged records
- Must attach a document verifying current teaching certification status
- Must attach a copy of DD-214 if claiming Veteran's Preference
