Job Summary
Conduct daily instruction and classroom management for K-5 students. Deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, facilitate student learning, and maintain a safe educational environment. Adhere to the school's drug-free workplace policy and submit to pre-employment fingerprint and drug screen clearance. Provide accurate responses to background check inquiries regarding criminal history and prior employment. Submit required documentation including court dispositions, college transcripts, and certification verification upon application.
Required Qualifications
- Must receive a negative drug test result prior to being hired
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a United States citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must provide a document verifying current teaching certification status
- Must provide a court disposition for any sealed or expunged records if selected on the background check questions
