Job Summary
Conduct Middle Math instruction for grades 6-8, adhering to School Board policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining the highest traditions of public education. Submit required documents including Florida Educator's Certificate, Statement of Eligibility, and official transcripts upon job offer. Complete mandatory drug testing and background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration. Comply with all federal, state, and district requirements designated by the Superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Educator's Certificate
- Statement of Eligibility (Letter from the Florida Department of Education)
- Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification (if applicable)
- Official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which you earned a degree
- Educational credentials from institutions accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Course by course evaluation for foreign education by an agency approved by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE)
- Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package
- Compliance with School Board Policy 3.10 procedures
- Medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable)
- Passing a pre-employment medical examination (if applicable)
- Passing a drug test
- No positive test for drugs as defined in School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- No history of tuberculosis or other pulmonary diseases, carcinoma, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, anemia, cardiovascular diseases, muscular skeletal diseases or disorders, hearing and visual impairments, mental or nervous disorders, alcoholism, or drug abuse (if applicable)
- Passing a background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Permission to furnish confidential records to the Department of School Police and/or the Division of Human Resources
