Job Summary
Follow School Board policies and procedures while conducting oneself in the best interest of students to support the District's mission. Complete required forms for federal and state agencies, employee benefits, and drug testing pursuant to School Board Policy 3.10 and 3.96. Submit official transcripts and Florida Educator's Certificate upon receiving an instructional job offer. Undergo background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with adopted policies.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package
- Compliance with School Board Policy 3.10 procedures
- Passing a drug test pursuant to School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- Medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable)
- Physical examination and/or testing for potentially impairing, disabling, communicable and terminal diseases or conditions (if applicable)
- Submission of official transcripts from all colleges or universities from which a degree was earned
- Florida Educator's Certificate
- Statement of Eligibility (Letter from the Florida Department of Education)
- Active/Valid Out-of-State Certification (if applicable)
- Educational credentials from institutions accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Foreign education evaluated by an agency approved by the Florida Department of Education (if applicable)
