Job Summary
Manage and improve organizational IT cost transparency and planning by analyzing key data sets from systems of record such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Service Manager. Import, transform, and rationalize data to ensure accuracy and timeliness, then create communication materials for IT executives and end users. Collaborate with managers and client personnel to deliver engagement objectives across all aspects of the project while working with multiple levels of management. Provide expertise to optimize IT spend for a government customer, requiring an active Secret clearance and local presence in the DMV area.
Required Qualifications
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of THREE (3)+ years of overall work experience
- Experience in IT services and/or financial management processes with budgeting, cost allocations, program portfolio management, and/or application/infrastructure support
- Must be local to the DMV area and able to come onsite periodically as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in related field preferred
- TBM experience
- ITIL or Service Management background preferred
- Knowledge and application of relational database concepts
- Advanced analytical analysis skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modeling and analysis
- Strong to expert skills in data transformation using MS Excel or Alteryx or Apptio or Proven Optics
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization
- Understanding of IT infrastructure domains including data centers, network/communications, server utilization, virtual environments, storage, and application development
