Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director & Executive Chef, the Food Service Aide performs a variety of food service functions, including cold production duties, sandwich pre-prep and assembly, pizza making, cashiering, tray assembly, dish room duties, and patient tray distribution, plus general sanitation and customer service responsibilities. The role requires basic arithmetic, reading/writing simple notes, ability to lift up to 30 pounds, and adherence to OSHA regulations and CDC safety protocols. This is a full-time, on-site position in Bellevue, OH, serving Erie and surrounding counties, with a focus on supporting food service operations and patient meals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write small letters and numbers
- Ability to communicate and understand written and oral communication
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and be mobile
- Punctual attendance at assigned work location
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free workplace
- OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission-based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment
- Compliance with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms
- Successful completion of a ninety (90) day probationary period
