Job Summary
Inside Upholsterer responsible for upholstering chairs and sofas in fabric and leather with focus on 100% quality. Duties include upholstering inside sections of chairs/sofas, performing own repair work, and following manager-assigned tasks. Must operate staple gun and related tools, read English order tickets, maintain safety and production standards, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork in a heated/cooled furniture manufacturing plant. Overtime and weekend work required. Local role based in Conover, NC with on-site work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of upholstery procedures.
- Must be able to read an order ticket, written in English.
- Must be able to use a staple gun, staple puller, scissors, and regulators.
- Must be able to work safely, neatly, and quickly to meet production requirements.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strict attention to detail is a must.
- Must be a Team Player.
- Must be reliable.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.
- Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
