Job Summary
Senior role focusing on taxable fixed income ABS research and investment opportunities across consumer, commercial, and specialty asset classes. Lead quantitative and qualitative analysis, build cash flow and collateral models, evaluate Investment Grade and Below Investment Grade ABS, prepare memos and reports, monitor portfolios, and collaborate with deal sponsors, investment banks, and internal teams to inform investment decisions and risk-adjusted returns. Represents the organization at industry events and mentors junior professionals, while maintaining deep knowledge of ABS market dynamics and regulatory expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of ABS underwriting experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and INTEX
- Experience in financial modeling and cash flow analysis
- Ability to produce detailed reports and credit memos
- Strong collaboration with portfolio management, legal, risk, and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (implied in description)
- Senior-level investment research and credit assessment capabilities
