Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide personalized tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for in-person customers using Intuit TurboTax products. Act as a community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and driving local marketing efforts to build long-term client relationships. Deliver exceptional customer experiences through genuine interest in financial goals while utilizing video communication tools to address inquiries and overcome tax challenges. This role requires onsite presence at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Candidates must hold an active EA, CPA, or attorney license with a PTIN and at least three years of experience filing 30+ federal and state returns.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
