Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support for in-person customers using Intuit TurboTax products. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and provide future tax planning while building long-term client relationships. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and driving local marketing efforts to grow the client base. Deliver personalized financial guidance in everyday language, addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax challenges through genuine connection and professional expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
