Job Summary
Provide full-service tax return preparation, including calculations, deductions optimization, and amendments, while delivering personalized tax advice and planning. Serve in-person customers at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location using TurboTax products and state-of-the-art video communication tools. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and driving local marketing efforts to build long-term client relationships. Work onsite Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week. This role combines tax expertise with entrepreneurial spirit to help customers navigate their tax needs and foster community prosperity.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
