Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide personalized tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for in-person customers. Engage new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients through proactive local community outreach and marketing support. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by addressing inquiries, overcoming tax challenges, and building trust to foster multi-year relationships. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location from Sunday through Saturday, managing peak customer demand while representing the brand as a community fixture.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
