Job Summary
Lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, including supervision/mentoring of staff and maintaining client relationships. Prepare complex multistate S corp and partnership income tax returns and high net worth individual returns; review mid-level multistate complexity returns; research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters; identify tax planning opportunities; handle tax controversies; train and supervise staff accountants. Collaborative team environment with seasoned CPAs and industry leaders across Nashville, NY, Orlando, or Whippany offices. Strong client service, analytical, organizational, and project management skills required; travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor0 0Degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA, or working towards CPA certification with parts passed
- Masters of Science in Taxation is preferred but not required
- At least 4 years of public accounting experience
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Verbal, written, and presentation skills
