Job Summary

Manage accurate and timely payroll tax filing, reporting, and remittance across multiple jurisdictions including the United States and Canada. Oversee Strada and ADP vendor performance, resolve high-priority tax research issues, and handle agency inquiries with precision. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and provincial requirements by monitoring regulatory changes and updating systems. Support quarterly and year-end activities, including reconciliations and audits, while partnering with Payroll, Finance, HR, and external vendors. Review and maintain payroll tax setup in Workday and ADP Smart Compliance. Identify process improvements to strengthen controls and enhance employee experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Payroll experience)
  • 5 years' experience in tax specifically payroll tax
  • 5 years experience working with external payroll vendors
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
  • Employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing

Desired Qualifications

  • Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise with payroll systems
  • Workday payroll experience
  • Big 4 experience from Deloitte, E&Y, PWC or KPMG
