Job Summary
Confirm tax provisions for overseas subsidiaries in consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with Japan's anti-tax haven system, Pillar 2, and digital services. Manage transfer pricing documentation, respond to tax audits, and prepare BEPS files including local and master files. Plan global tax strategies, review M&A structures, and support business startups from the planning stage. Collaborate with regional headquarters in Singapore, U.S.A., and Luxembourg to strengthen tax governance and implement system reforms. This role offers direct reporting opportunities to the CFO and involvement in cross-group tax policy establishment.
Required Qualifications
- Business level communication skills in English and Japanese
- Approximately 3 or more years of international tax experience
- Japanese tax haven taxation
- Transfer pricing taxation
- Overseas tax investigations
