Job Summary
Lead and manage State Street's Tax Service team to oversee global tax reclaim filings across markets and for global clients, with custody tax withholding expertise. Drive the filing and collection of 200K+ reclaims annually while providing strong leadership, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration with tax offices, sub custodians, clients, and internal processing leads. Role requires effective communication, exceptional problem-solving, governance and risk management, and the ability to develop and motivate staff across a global team. Serve as a subject-matter expert on custody tax topics, participate in division-wide initiatives, and ensure high-quality client service and adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 15+ years of Custody Tax experience in a custody and/or middle office environment
- 10+ years of experience managing staff of at least 5+ team members
- Strong MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
