Job Summary
Lead complex tax consulting and compliance engagements for real estate clients, guiding them through sophisticated partnership taxation and transaction matters. Perform technical reviews of tax returns, analyze industry trends, and evaluate workpapers related to basis calculations and complex allocations. Manage engagement teams, oversee workflow and billing, and provide coaching to develop future leaders. Build strong client relationships, expand services, and cultivate long-term partnerships while representing the firm in community organizations. This full-time hybrid leadership opportunity within a confidential firm focuses on driving strategic advisory work and strengthening the growing real estate tax practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law
- 7+ years of recent public accounting experience managing real estate tax engagements
- Significant experience with partnerships and complex flow-through entity matters
- Strong ability to review and interpret operating agreement tax language
- CPA certification
- Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with tax technology and workflow management tools
