Job Summary
Lead a high-performing tax team in Colorado by serving as the primary contact for Private Equity stakeholders and guiding delivery of compliance and consulting services. Review complex returns, sign filings, and advise on planning strategies for acquisitions, divestitures, and rollups. Provide technical expertise in corporate and flow-through taxation, manage tight deadlines for K-1 delivery, and identify tax-saving opportunities. Oversee client billing, coach team members, and stay current on regulations while building the firm's presence in the PE space.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Strong understanding of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations
- Experience working with Private Equity–backed clients
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive business development
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, self-starter mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality client service
- Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship
